Other sources

Things worth knowing about these sources

The ACT percentile table expires. It states its own validity window as September 2025 through August 2026, and is based on graduates of 2023 to 2025. ACT had not published a successor when it was retrieved. Any ACT percentile on this site should be read with that date attached.

The SAT cohort data refreshes annually. The class of 2025 report is the newest available. A class of 2026 report is expected in autumn 2026 and will supersede the mean, distribution and benchmark figures shown here.

ACT conversion is form-specific. The table used here belongs to practice form 25MC1. Unlike the SAT, where each practice test has a published table, ACT conversions vary between individual test forms.

The concordance predates both current tests. The 2018 table maps the retired four-section ACT composite against the pre-digital paper SAT. ACT states it can continue to be used, and publishes standard errors of plus or minus 2 ACT points and plus or minus 80 SAT points.

The two college sources have different vintages. Score ranges are Fall 2024 and submission percentages are Fall 2023, because College Scorecard does not carry a submission field and IPEDS has not released the matching year as a public CSV. A submission percentage from a different cohort than the range it qualifies is a real limitation, so both dates appear on every college page.

Some things have no source, and are not published here. There is no conversion table for adaptive Bluebook tests, no published module routing threshold, no published score ceiling for the lower-difficulty route, no current-year AP composite cut points, and no official National Merit cutoffs. The methodology page explains each gap.
